Evening meetings are held in the Parish hall and start  at 7pm for a cup of tea and a chat

Weds 21st January    John Hill talks to us about Alpines

Weds 18th February. Our friend Reg Moule, of Hereford and Worcester radio fame, will talk to us about Ponds and Water Gardening.

Saturday 14th March. Spring Show and Plant Sale

Weds 18th March. Rosemary Winnall has lived and worked in the Wyre Forest for 30 years and is a wildlife photographer. She will be helping us to take better photos of the natural world with her talk “Nature in Focus”. Seed Swap tonight, bring along your saved and surplus seeds, and swap them for something new.

Weds 15th April  Lynda Whitcombe keen herbalist will bring along some samples for us to try along with an interesting talk on Herbs; their culinary and medicinal use.

Weds 20th May  Gardeners Question Time chaired by our president  with a team of  gardening experts. Come armed with your questions…..

Saturday 13th June Members Open Gardens Afternoon

Weds 17th June Involved in horticulture  professionally for 35 years Mark Paviour will be talking to us about Trees for the Smaller Garden.  Social evening afterwards with Strawberries and ice cream .

Sat 20th June  An outing by coach to Blenheim Palace Park and Gardens including The Blenheim Palace Flower Show which will feature over 250 floral and gardens exhibitors, a Grand Floral Marquee ten garden landscapes, and lots more including food, refreshments, and plenty of shopping. www.blenheimpalace.com.
Depart Parish Hall 8.30 am. £23.75  (£23.65 Retired). If you do not wish to visit the palace £19.50 (£18.00 Retired)

Weds 8th July. Evening visit to Robin Pearce’s garden at World End for a wine and cheese party

Weds 22nd July Afternoon visit to David and Enid Caldicott’s garden in Birlingham for tea and scones and ice cream. Own transport/car share 2.30pm

Saturday 12th September Annual Show. Your chance to show off the fruits of your labours. Entry deadline Thursday 10th September Apple pressing in the carpark

Weds 16th September  Paul Picton who came to speak to the gardening club in 1985, makes a return visit to talk on “Cornucopia - Plants from around the world for an English garden”

Saturday 17th October  Come and enjoy the spectacular autumn colours at Westonbirt Arboretum, Nr Tetbury particularly the famous Japanese maples ablaze in reds, oranges and yellows. Leave by coach 9.00 from Parish Hall.  £17.50 (£16.50 Retired)
